Educational Background: Graduated with Honors with a Bachelor of Music Performance Degree in Classical Guitar and Baroque Lute - University of California - Irvine, California. Studied Classical Guitar with David Tanenbaum, Scott Tennant, Ricardo Cobo, and John Schneidermann. Performed in Master Classes for David Tanenbaum and Ricardo Cobo. Studied three years of Jazz Theory with Alan Rowe (Stan Kenton Orchestra, Keith Jarret). Studied Classical Piano for nine years.

Experience: Currently owns and operates Music Instruction Business. Has taught for Yamaha Music in Mission Viejo and Fountain Valley and for International Music School in Costa Mesa. Currently plays professionally with various groups in Orange County and Los Angeles.

Additional: Feels nothing is more crucial in learning a musical instrument than feedback and direction from a trained instructor in a private setting. Has encountered many students that are "self-taught" or have learned from online lessons. Many times students practice exercise or technique incorrectly, then must "unlearn" bad habits and "re-learn" correct methods. Likes to custom tailor each lesson and the overall learning plan for each student, depending on age, music preference, seriousness, realistic time availability for practice, and other variables.
