Rates: $140.00 per Month - Weekly Forty-five Minute Lessons. $185.00 per Month - Weekly Hour Lessons.

Educational Background: Bachelors of Arts degree in piano performance from UCLA Studied Dorothy Taubman piano technique especially devised for pianists with hand and wrist injuries. Studied at Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, CA with acclaimed concert pianist Jerome Lowenthal

Experience: Taught piano & composition with the Yamaha Music School in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, CA. Studied and was certified by Yamaha in their methods of developing aspects of musicianship in young students such as singing, ear-training, music reading, composition and improvisation. Church pianist, organist and choir director.

Awards: Won first prize in several piano competitions.

Additional: I help my students to love the process of learning music by teaching them to savor the sound they produce. Learning piano becomes like a game, because students learn just how fascinating the creative problem solving process is.
