Educational Background: Doctor of Musical Arts in Composition - The University of Texas at Austin, 2003. MM in Theory and MM in Composition - State Academy of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria, 1992, 1996.

Experience: Eight years of teaching experience both in USA and Bulgaria, in a classroom setting and in a private studio.

Awards: ASCAP-Plus Award, 2004 Fourth Prize at "Universe Talent", Prague, Czech Republic, 2001 Winner of the "Verder Trio" Reading Session, USC, SC, 2000, Third Prize in "Songs of Varna", Bulgaria, 1997.

Additional: Offers private instruction in any theoretical discipline at any level with an emphasis on harmony. Also offer lessons in piano and guitar, improvisation, composition and orchestration.
