Rates: $18.00 per Half Hour.

Education: B.S. in Music Education from Messiah College and has done additional study at Westminster Choir College in Choral Conducting, Church Choirs, Vocal Pedagogy, Solo Vocal Literature, Singer's Diction, Children's Choirs, Kodaly Instruction, Piano Pedagogy, and Piano Literature .

Experience: A member of the American Choral Director's Association, Music Teacher's National Association, the Organization of American Kodaly Educators, Harrisburg Singers and Carlisle Musical Arts Club, Kathy O'Donnell is the founder and director of the 45 voice Carlisle Homeschool Children's Choir and 24 voice treble choir, Concert Chorale. Mrs. O'Donnell teaches piano and voice privately. She has accompanied singers and instrumentalists in master classes, recitals and competitions, as well as accompanied choral groups. Kathy currently sings with Center Stage Opera. She has been a soprano soloist for many years with a community production of Handel's Messiah, a soloist in many area churches for worship services, weddings and funerals. Mrs. O'Donnell formerly taught music in the Carlisle Area School District. She has directed both adult and children's choirs at Zion Lutheran Church in Newville, St. Patrick Catholic Church and St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Carlisle and directed children's choirs and an adult ensemble at the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Carlisle. With her family, she has performed for many area civic groups, retirement homes and senior citizen centers. She has taught private voice and piano lessons from her home for many years, giving two student recitals each year.
