Educational Background: BM Vocal Performance from The Univeristy of Missouri-Kansas City.

Experience: Christy had performance experience in operas, operettas, musical theatre and straight theatre. She has also had extensive acting training with a Shakespearean emphasis.

Additional: Enjoys coaching dramatic interpretation and character development in addition to teaching vocal technique. Her technical approach follows the Italianate school - clear, free, efficient tone sung on the breath with no affectations. Good vocal technique should allow a singer to explore many genres of music.
