Experience: Has appeared on radio, film, and television nationally and internationally. Tours the country and abroad with his seminar and workshop Series, including Young Audiences of America. John Marshall's music can be heard on National Public Radio and on the Sony, virgin, DMP, Ellipsis Arts, and Jazzheads record labels. Has worked with Paul Winter, Glen Velez, David Darling, Mark Antony, and George Benson. Has Published two books and CDs - Hand Drums for Beginners, and World Beat Encyclopedia.

Awards: Award for excellence in Percussion Music Education from the Pro-Mark Drum Company. 1990 Recipient of Arts Grant for teaching percussion - The Waterbury Foundation. 1999 Recipient of Friends of Music Teaching Award - Litchfield High School - 2000.
