Rates: $20.00 per Half Hour - $35.00 per Hour.

Educational Background: Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance from the Boston Conservatory. Additional Graduate Study at the Catholic Universty of America. Past instructors include Steven Barta (Baltimore Symphony Orchestra), Guenter Voit (Nuremberg and Munich Musikhochschulen), Ian Greitzer (Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra) and Kenneth Radnofsky (New England Conservatory of Music) Chamber Music coachings with Doriot Anthony Dwyer (formerly of the Boston Symphony Orchestra) and Jonathan Bass (Boston Conservatory faculty). Master Classes with Alan Hacker (formerly of the London Philharmonic and the Royal Academy of Music), Tom Martin (Boston Symphony Orchestra) and Scott Andrews (Boston Symphony Orchestra).

Experience: Concertmaster of the 1st Infantry Division Band (regular performances throughout Bavaria, touring in Austria, France and Germany). Additional performances with the US Army Europe Band on a 2006 Spring Tour of Northern Germany. Solo appearances with the Maafischer Blaskapelle of Viereth, Germany, and the University Park Symphony Orchestra of Hyattsville, MD. .

Awards: Scholarship student and magna cum laude graduate of the Boston Conservatory Scholarship student at the Catholic University of America.

Additional: I travel to and teach in the student's home. This is why my rates are slightly higher than average. This cuts back on the amount of time devoted to the students regular lesson and also ensures a comfortable enviornment for the student to learn in.
