Experience: Recently, debuted with Annapolis Opera in their annual Mozart by Candlelight concert (Dec.2003). Since obtaining graduate degree, has sung with companies in Boston, Salt Lake City, Annapolis and Boulder, CO. Has also sustained a private studio of twenty students while also teaching a full studio (Voice Majors) as adjunct faculty at Utah State University. Still maintains an active performance schedule.

Awards: Finalist, NE Region, Metropolitan Opera Competition (Boston, 2001); Annie J. MacColl (full-tuition) scholarship, New England Conservatory (2000-2002).

Additional: Specializes in teaching healthy singing techniques. With parents of young singers (younger than HS age), often suggests that focus is placed on musicianship and beginning piano (if not already proficient) skills in order to allow the voice some time to mature before beginning actual 'voice lessons'. Students gain from instructor's attention to healthy technique (singing) and performance experience. Just relocated to Maryland from the west coast, and is establishing a solid studio.
