Educational Background: I received a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Ohio University. I am a classically trained pianist of 15 years, and have studied guitar for five years. Other music studies include theory, ear training, and music history.

Experience: I have experience teaching children and adults of all ages and developmental abilities, including those with special needs. My background in music therapy has given me tools and techniques to adapt musical concepts to the student's abilities and create a successful musical environment.

Awards: I received several awards and scholarships while attending Ohio Univerisity, including the Ohio University School of Music Dean's Scholarship Award, Music Clubs of Ohio Music Therapy Scholarship, and the Senior Achievement Award in Music Therapy.

Additional: I teach at the student's home, all over the Twin Cities.
