Educational Background: Formal education includes preparatory study at the Harlem School of the Arts, Manhattan School of Music Preparatory Division, Bloomingdale House of Music and undergraduate study at the Aaron Copland School of Music (ACSM) - earned a Bachelor of Music Degree. Has begun graduate studies in performance and is a candidate for an MA (trumpet). Is under the Mentorship of Vincent Penzarella of the NY Philharmonic at ACSM and is also be focusing on Performing Arts Administration.

Experience: Is the director of education and community outreach with the Metropolitan Chamber Music Society. Was also the former director of brass studies at the French Woods Performing Arts Festival (2001-2002). For two consecutive years, was the principal trumpet for the Inter-School Orchestras of New York (ISO) Symphony Orchestra and also served as a trumpeter for the New York Youth Symphony, Queens Philharmonic, the Royal Queens Symphonia and the Brooklyn Heights Orchestra. Currently, is freelancing in the tri-state area. Teaches trumpet at the Urban Academy, the Ella Baker School, the Police Athletics League (Duncan Center), through ISO and in own private studio.

Awards: Was the recipient of the Michel Joan Ress Award for an Outstanding Brass Chamber Musician - 2003 from the Aaron Copland School of Music.
