Educational Background: A.B. English Cornell University, Currently, enrolled in M.A. program in Music Composition at Queens College. Additional training: Manhattan School of Music, Ithaca College, Montclair State University and Harlem School of the Arts.

Experience: I am a pop and jazz singer by profession, with many years of training under my belt. The work of utilizing strict vowels and breath support has given me a wealth of technique, and the ability to sing anything I want.

Additional: I teach a modified bel-canto method, which develops the entire voice; chest, middle (mix) and head, and focuses on vowels and breath support. My students come from pop, rock, jazz and musical theatre backgrounds and benefit tremendously from this work. I am well versed in Meisner training, which assists the singer in becoming more personally related to the text. I break down lyrics with my students to focus on objective, actions and emotional expression.
