Educational Background: Studied music theory and music history at Rutgers University. Studied with several teachers including Bill Hart, who has taught at the Atlanta Institute of Music. Worked with many instruction books and web sites, and worked on reharmonizing tunes.

Experience: Has had one year of teaching experience.

Additional: Emphasizes making music over playing scales and other dry exercises. Teaches students to play by ear and shows them how music works. The importance of having fun in practicing is stressed. Beginners and intermediates of any age will benefit most. Believes in providing value before accepting payment. First lesson is free.
