Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Music (Voice and Piano Performance) from Mary Washington College.

Experience: Began playing the piano at the age of six and has taught piano since 1996.

Awards: Graduated with Summa Cum Laude Honors. Awarded the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Student Achievement Recognition Award in 2002, in recoginition of excellence in academic achievement, successful teaching experience and demonstrated leadership abilities.

Additional: Is active in the community as a Girl Scout Leader and District Coordinator. Also serves as the pianist at Stafford County Christian Church.
