Experience: Judy started the piano at age five, studied through college, and was active in community musical theater and as a continuing student of piano while pursuing careers in other fields (educational and marketing research). After publishing a book in 1990 (BirthBond: Reunions between Birthparents and Adoptees), she returned to her first love by taking up piano chamber music studies and becoming a piano teacher -- for adults only.

Additional: Along with expertise as a pianist, training in teaching, respect for the adult individual, and her own history as an adult student, Judy offers her students both skills and understanding -- including enthusiasm for music and learning, boundless patience, and a warm, non-judgmental personal style. She wants students to enjoy the process, not just the end result.
