Experience: Featured in the masterclasses of reknowned flutists Julius Baker, Carol Wincenc, Ransom Wilson, Jeffrey Khaner, Linda Chesis, Marya Martin, Walfrid Kujala, Bonita Boyd, and flutist/composer Katherine Hoover. Also a past member of the New York Youth Symphony, (and fellowship recipient), making appearances in Carnegie Hall as both a principal player and an assistant player. As a member of the Eudaimonia Trio, (flute, harp, and viola), she has played in venues throughout NYC including Carnegie's Weill Recital Hall. Has also played in Summer Programs and Festivals.

Awards: Fellowship Award - New York Yough Symphony and several scholarships.

Additional: Goal as a teacher is to make flute playing and music both fun and rewarding. Believes that music education should be available to all children and to all other people that are eager to learn. Understanding that an arts education is not always readily available, especially in underprivileged communities, tries to be available to people of all background and financial demographics. Teaching is one that adhere's to the specific needs of each individual student. Tries to get to know the students and their personalities in order to find the method that is best suitable for them. Believes that it is very important to understand the students on both a personal and musical level in order for the highest level of potential to be met.
